Fitz-Gerald Heads WISPA Grand Prix Standings Sarah Fitz-Gerald, the world No1 and four-times world champion from Melbourne, heads the WISPA World Grand Prix standings after the first five Women's International Squash Players' Association events of the year. The in-form Australian, winner of the Hartford Open, British Open and Seattle Open, has a narrow 105 point lead over New Zealand's Carol Owens, the Texas Open champion and runner-up in Hartford and Seattle. England's US-based Natalie Pohrer, winner of the Hurghada International title in Egypt, is in fourth place in the list, behind third-placed compatriot Cassie Campion, beaten finalist in Hurghada and Texas. New Zealand's former world No1 Leilani Joyce, out of action since December after rupturing her Achilles, is expected to begin her bid for a place in next year's World Grand Prix finals in Qatar at the French Open in September following her long-awaited comeback at the Commonwealth Games in July.
